11. Do you take my insurance?
- We are a cash-based clinic; therefore, we are an out-of- network provider for your insurance companies. Please contact us via email or phone to learn more about our rates and options we have for you.
12. Why is New Life Wellness Center of Frisco not participating with any insurance companies?
- We wanted to gain back control of our treatment from health insurance companies. With ever changing insurance rules and regulations, New Life Wellness Center decided that it was best for the interests of our patients and our providers to be independent of insurance companies. It allows us to give all of our attention to treating patients and finding ways to improve the way of living for our patients. It simply is the best model for a patient-centered clinic like New Life Wellness Center of Frisco.
- I am sure many of you have noticed increasing monthly premiums with increasing deductibles, decreasing coverage, and ultimately less than satisfactory services rendered by your providers. From researching the trends of the health industry while talking to patients and listening to their needs and preferences, we found out that Value, Time, and Quality are the most important characteristics people are looking for in wellness. At New Life Wellness Center, we are ready to provide these characteristics to our patients every day.
- With focused attention on our patients, you will see results faster than average. When you consider the time savings of fewer trips to the clinic and the value of resolving your pain in quicker manner, we believe that your out-of- pocket expense at New Life Wellness Center is a huge bargain.
13. Can I still receive reimbursement from my insurance company?
- This depends on the insurance you have, but YES, many patients at New Life Wellness Center send self-claims to their insurance companies. You should be able to print claim forms off your insurance company’s website, and send it in with the needed receipts and treatment codes that will be provided upon request at the clinic. We will also verify your insurance companies to determine your out of network benefits and if there are other requirements prior to starting your treatment such as pre-authorization. The amount of reimbursement (or application to deductible) is completely dependent on your insurance plan.
14. How many treatments will I need?
- At New Life Wellness Center, we focus on helping patients return to specific activities such as what they love to do, everyday life skills, and work-related skills.
- This is always a tough question to answer because it varies with every patient and is dependent on a large number of factors. What we can say is that, in general, you will usually need less than half as many treatments as you would expect to need when going to a more traditional PT or acupuncture clinic.
- Chronic dysfunction or pain will usually, but not always, take longer to fix than more recent/acute problems. Certain conditions like herniated disks and frozen shoulders will obviously take longer to resolve than something like an ankle sprain.
