What Is Stress?
Merriam-Webster has multiple definition for stress. Out of it all, I would like to highlight 2 definitions.
- a physical, chemical, or emotional factor that causes bodily or mental tension and may be a factor in disease causation
- one of bodily or mental tension resulting from factors that tend to alter an existent equilibrium
In our body, if there is imbalance than trouble follows. In Acupuncture, it is all about finding our balance whether it is (hot/cold, too much/too little, right/left, and many more). It is very important to return to state of equilibrium to regain our healthy body and to avoid becoming a chronic disease. Don’t let stress control you but be in charge of your Healthy Self.
